TAMARACK was born on the granite backbone of the Muskoka region of Ontario, Canada. In 2006, five-long-time friends combined their passion for music and began playing together in basement, garage and living room settings. TAMARACK developed a huge repertoire of cover tunes and became a cornerstone of weekend parties that only ended when the sun came up. Since that time, TAMARACK has made the leap into major live music venues across central and southern Ontario. TAMARACK has become known by many venue owners and promoters for their versatility and their high energy rock-infused performances.

In 2009, TAMARACK forged a new pathway by professionally recording and independently releasing their first two original songs (check em out here!). In addition to continuing to rock the cover gig scene, TAMARACK also focused on landing opening gigs for a number of well-known rock bands, including Art of Dying, Michou, Winhara, and Crash Karma (former members of I Mother Earth, Our Lady Peace and The Tea Party). TAMARACK independently released a new single “BACKSEAT” in January 2012 (check it out here!)…and is due to release another new single “CAN’T BE SAVED” in February 2012…much anticipated!!
